The solar park at Nr. Galten is for the most part located within designations for groundwater protection, i.e., special drinking water interests and sensitive water extraction areas.

The solar park at Nr. Galten is for the most part located within designations for groundwater protection, i.e., special drinking water interests and sensitive water extraction areas.

During the development of this project, we had several dialogues with the local community in Nr. Galten - including two local meetings. The purpose of these dialogues has been to adapt the area in order to cause the least possible inconvenience for the local community. The gross area bordered directly to the city and some residencies. We have created a “solar panel-free” space close to the town and around other residencies. The area close to the town can be converted into a biodiversity area. The project area is currently used for conventional agricultural operations.
