Recreational initiatives
UNISON wants to incorporate recreational values into our renewable energy plant.
These initiatives will benefit the local community and visitors, so that in addition to producing green electricity, the renewable energy plant can also create valuable experiences and provide visitors with new energy.
This project aims to increase accessibility in the area and create a connection between the three towns of Hadsten, Hadbjerg and Nr. Galten.
A parking lot will be established in the center of the facility, and recreational paths will be established through the area to facilitate access for pedestrians and exercisers. Some paths can be used for short routes close to Hadsten, Hadbjerg or Nr. Galten, while other paths cross the site, such as a path along a wide open area under a 60 kV power line. Walking through the area, you can see how the solar panels follow the landscape as it meanders in the soft hills.
Information signs, observation towers and smaller installations can be installed in the area to convey knowledge about renewable energy, nature and biodiversity. In addition, the signs can serve as signposts and it is being investigated whether the trail system can be linked to existing websites for hiking routes. The information can also be linked to an interactive online information platform.
In the illustrations below, you can see what we do that can benefit the local community.
