Energy Park by Bredevad

Welcome to the info page for Energy Park at Bredevad

This page shows the latest status of the project. The development of a renewable energy project is a dynamic process where changes can occur continuously, partly based on local and municipal dialog. Therefore, project-specific information may change during the development and planning process.

Below Timeline and Status you can see the latest updates on the project.

About the project

The project's gross area is approximately 72 hectares and is located in the open countryside north of Bredevad in Aabenraa Municipality.

The project area includes a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant and BESS. It allows for the installation of solar modules corresponding to an annual power production of approximately 57 million kWh and a battery system to store the energy produced.

When delimiting the area, it is important that the facility forms a single unit and that distance to neighbors is ensured.

Greater consistency and accessibility

This is the preliminary layout plan of the project. The layout plan shows the different elements within the project area. The layout plan has been prepared based on local input, municipal dialog and consideration for the internal and surrounding nature and environment.

Photo points

Here are a number of photos from the area showing the existing conditions.

Later in the development process, a series of visualizations will be created from selected photo points to visualize the future conditions with solar panels and new planting belts.

Photo point 1

The photovoltaic system is placed behind the rear full-grown existing shelterbelt.

The distance from the photo point to the photovoltaic system is approximately 180 meters.

Photo point 2

The photovoltaic system is placed behind a fully grown existing shelterbelt.

The distance from the photo point to the photovoltaic system is approximately 200-300 meters.

Photo point 3

The photovoltaic system is partially placed behind a fully grown existing shelterbelt.

A new planting belt is added where necessary to screen views into the facility.

The distance from the photo point to the photovoltaic system is approximately 500 meters.

Photo point 4

The photovoltaic system is placed approximately 300 meters behind the fully grown existing shelterbelt.

The distance from the photo point to the photovoltaic system is approximately 600 meters.

Photo point 5

The photovoltaic system is placed approximately 500 meters behind the fully grown existing shelterbelt.

The distance from the photo point to the photovoltaic system is approximately 600 meters.
